ARIA is the non-de plume of Canadian artist, musician and producer Dan Driscoll.
He has been working for the last twelve years as a live electronic music artist, composer, producer, and nightclub DJ. He has performed extensively in Canada and has toured internationally in Japan and the U.S.A.
In Toronto, ARIA has performed at events ranging from warehouse parties, protests and many underground clubs to art gallery's, parks, and the odd geodesic dome. A few of the outdoor music festivals other special events ARIA has played at include: The Beats Breaks and Culture festival at the Harbourfront Centre, the TIFF aka, The Toronto International Film Festival (As a member of Telefunk Soundsystem) The OM Summer Solstice Festival. The ORP Summer Solstice Festival, The Harvest Festival, WEMF, The Evolve Festival, Boreal, and the The JVC International Jazz Festival (Toronto) (As a member of Sourfly Live)
In 2006 Dan Driscoll worked as the composer for the award-winning documentary Manufactured Landscapes which won the award for Best Canadian Feature at the 2006 Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) and a 2007 Genie award for best documentary. Manufactured Landscapes was screened at both the Berlin International and Sundance
