Aries Kaizer started out when basssist Iru and drummer Ridz met during their army days and found out that they shared a common interest in music. After deciding to jam together, Ridz got Kay into the band and they started off as a 3 piece band covering L'Arc~en~Ciel songs. After a few jamming sessions, the trio found that they could click very well with each other musically and decided to play together seriously as a band. They adopted the name Ares Kaiser: Ares signifying the Greek God of War and Kaiser which means 'Emperor' in German. However, due to various misspellings of the band's name in events, the guys decided to stick with the name Aries Kaizer.
As the band was evolving they managed to get Allan as the main vocal so that Iru could take a break from singing and concentrate on his bass playing. Aries Kaiser then found their keyboardist, Elson, who joined in Aug '08 and their lineup was complete.
