Now based in Adelaide, South Australia, Arift originates from the regional town of Mildura (VIC, Aus); where friends Dale Fulton, Ryan Moore and Steve Pay started jamming and writing songs together at their local school many years ago.
After a few gigs here and there the boys enlisted the then guitarist, & now bass player, Nathan Bland to fill out their heavy sound. Their final member came a few months (& a few gigs) later in final member, now lead vocalist, Brent Logan.
Arift's screaming power, diversity & passion is embodied in these 5 friends (Fultz, Boagz, Moorey, Steve & Blandy); each bringing with them their own different influences, strengths, opinions and aspects.
Through it all thus far Arift have had the honour of sharing stages with many well-known (and not-so well known) bands including ‘Tim Rogers & the Temperence Union’, ‘Kissychasey’, ‘The Spazzys’, 'Jackson Firebird', ‘The Androids’, ‘Body Jar’, ‘Ten Penny Joke’, ‘TZU’, ‘The Devil Rock Four’, ‘From Hell’ & even hip-hoppers ‘The Herd’!
Chasing their dreams through the music they love & having an awesome time in the process is what it's about! Let me tell you... Arift are heavy, Arift are loud and Arift are doing just that... with a passion!
ROCK ON FAITHFUL!!

Cheers for your friendship and your kind words on our sound.
Our live recordings were at 'Live On Light Square' on Light Sq, Adelaide back in April 08 at our CD launch show. It is/was a great venue. It's being changed into an apartment block so they have moved just down the road, still the same name, just different place, but we haven't gigged there yet!
