I play solo for most shows and usually perform some combination of acoustic guitar, keyboards, trumpet, tambourine sing and beat box. No knee cymbals just yet!

Dave Matthews meets Ben Folds...then goes to a party and dances with Ani DiFranco while picking up a girl named Ingrid Michaelson, but ends up really getting down with Nick Drake and Atmosphere. Doesn't quite kick it off though, until he meets Bruce Cockburn and Sufjan Stevens both roboting it up on the dance floor. Dave, Bruce and Ben finish the evening eating drinking and being merry. They call a cab and the driver mysteriously happens to to be Damien Rice. Damien is playing Phish in the cab and can't possibly concentrate on the road. While caught up in the Weekapaug Groove, they crash into the Coldplay tour bus, but after they all slowly get out of their cars and settle everything, realize that they are all big fans of one another. Coldplay, Damien and the three stooges decide to walk back to Dave's place where the doorman, Jeff Buckley, greets all of them and as they exit from the elevator on the 9th floor, they walk by Miles Davis' room where he is finishing up the Kind of Blue sessions with Cannonball and Coltrane (they accidently walked through a time portal out of the elevator), but they get back to the year 2008 and realize they left John Mayer back at the bar. They all pick straws to decide who would have to make the trip all the way back. Ben gets the short straw. On his long walk back he notices a street musician slapping away on the guitar. Ben introduces himself to this talented man with funny hair and discovers it is Keller Williams. Keller joins the walk and they grab John and meet back at Dave's place. They finish the evening in Dave's room laughing, drinking and smoking a little Nargila (sheesha) (with a little goodness sprinkled on top), and they doze off into a deep sleep dreaming of Natalie Portman (the inspiration of course).

Hey Ari! How's it goin? I'm liking the pics. Big fan. I'm on tour this summer with Kids From Wisconsin singing all over the state.
