If you like the music you hear on the music playlist and the videos on the other side of this page, you will love to listen to Arise Radio on Live365.
....
Music
Arise Radio loves all forms of Christian music. We hope that the music you hear on both our profile page here on MySpace and over on our radio station on Live365 will help you in your spiritual growth. We hope that your eyes, ears, and hearts will be opened to Jesus Christ. Please enjoy the video below which is based on the classic song Open Our Eyes Lord. It is performed by classical pianist Linda McKechnie.
..
Movies
Arise Radio likes any movie with a positive message that reinforces Christian principles.
Television
Arise Radio loves the Gospel Music Channel. On the Gospel Music Channel recently, a brand new video from Rachel Scott premiered. In this video, she sings Resolution which is on her latest album which is also called Resolution.
..
Books
Arise Radio loves the Bible. The Bible is not only our guidebook for how we should live, but it is also a source of great encouragement during tough times. Many of us are enduring times of financial hardship and great stress due to the tough economy. Through Jesus Christ, we can rise above anything, even tough financial situations and the loss of material possessions.
Heroes
Arise Radio admires any person who dedicates himself or herself to Christian ministry and service. Dr. Charles Stanley is one of my favorite ministers. Whenever I listen to him, I always learn something. Please enjoy the following video where Dr. Stanley talks about how we can experience God's grace.
The ultimate hero for any Christian is Jesus Christ. Because of His death and resurrection, we are enabled to have eternal life. Because of Jesus Christ, we can rise above any situation and our past sins. The Christian message can be summed up in one word: Arise.
Arise Radio is an online Christian music radio station which broadcasts on Live365 at http://www.live365.com/stations/brucbuzz. Arise Radio plays all sorts of inspirational songs from all kinds of artists. You can hear songs from major Christian artists like Jeremy Camp, Amy Grant, Nicole Mullen, Yolanda Adams, MercyMe, Smokie Norful, the Booth Brothers, and many more. Arise Radio also plays inspirational songs from artists like Tim McGraw, Sheryl Crow, Bob Dylan, Perry Como, Martina McBride, Little Big Town, and Nickelback. Arise Radio will play anything that is a Christian song. Arise Radio really likes to shine the spotlight on emerging Christian musicians who are not yet well known. The Very Limited Brain Who Maintains Arise Radio has really enjoyed getting to meet many so called "unknown" Christian artists like Rachel West Kramer. For the first few months that Arise Radio was on the air, the most popular song was Rachel West Kramer's Hands of Love.
Very popular inspirational singer Spensha Baker has been well received here on Arise Radio, especially when she sings Purpose.
The Very Limited Brain Who Maintains Arise Radio considers it a real blessing to correspond with The Booth Brothers, a very popular Southern Gospel group. Please enjoy The Booth Brothers from their recent appearance on a Gaither Homecoming Special as they perform Castles In The Sand.
Who I'd like to meet:
Arise Radio is interested in meeting anyone who is interested in Christian music and who has a desire to spread the Christian message. For The Very Limited Brain Who Maintains Arise Radio, one of the great things about MySpace is that I can have fellowship with wonderful Christians all over the world, and I don't have to leave my home in Tennessee. One wonderful Christian lady I have had the pleasure of meeting is from New York. Her name is Letty, and her video testimony about how Jesus Christ turned around a very troubled teen recently finished at the top of the Arise Radio Top 20 list. Please enjoy the following video which has moved so many people.
Brian Turner can really play the piano, and his tracks have been well received here on Arise Radio. Please enjoy the video of his very popular song Love.
Many years ago as a little brat kid in the 1970s, The Very Limited Brain Who Maintains Arise Radio had the pleasure of seeing The Imperials perform in concert. Please enjoy their classic song from 1975 called No Shortage. While this song related to the energy crisis of the mid '70s, it is just as relevant for today. We may have a shortage of many things, but we will never experience any shortage of God's love. By the way, I once owned a Magnavox LP player just like the one in the video below.
Gavin Mikhail has recorded a very powerful and moving song. I must admit that I am moved to tears every single time I hear it. Many Arise Radio listeners have told me that they experience a similar reaction to this song. Before you watch the video below, you might want to have some tissues near you.
Mary Mary has become a very popular duo, and their music has also been very well received here on Arise Radio. Please enjoy their hit song Boom.
Arise, WORRYING Never, Ever, changes anything except our body metabolism; it causes heartburn, ulcers, and a myriad of other "Health Issues", so, in the end...we DO NOT enhance our life. Having FAITH in God does NOT mean that we (as Believers), will NOT go through "Changes", having FAITH in God gives us the CONFIDENCE to Know & Believe that God is "Still" in Control, and that He is "Behind the Scenes" working "THINGS" out on our behalf, Amen?! It is written that "All things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose". (Rom.8:38)
Over 3/4 of the "ISSUES" that we face in life (especially in these "Last Days") take up way too much of our time that we "COULD" be using MEDITATING on the "Over 5000 Promises" found in the Word of God. WORRY ultimately is based in FEAR, and FEAR is of the Devil.
The Bible says "Do not fret or have any anxiety about anything, but in every circumstance and in everything, by prayer and petition (definite requests), with thanksgiving, continue to make your wants known to God. And God's peace [shall be yours, that tranquil state of a soul assured of its salvation through Christ, and so fearing nothing from God and being content with its earthly lot of whatever sort that is, that peace] which transcends all understanding shall garrison and mount guard over your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus". (Phil.4:6,7 AMP.) Hmmmm??!?
Not a Sermon, Just an Observation. YBIC, Richard -aka- MEGA VOICES GOLD!
Past the sliver called today on the edge of tomorrow where dreams are made I venture through shallow streams in hope of finding the river deep. I plunge head first into these thoughts, unraveling the mystery that I have sought, to see the picture crystal clear, the face of my precious friend that I hold dear. And when the fog rises with the dew I will not stop in my pursuit, for lonely and fear stay on the roam, but here in my heart you always have a home.
For my family, my health, a nice soft bed My friends, my freedom, a roof over my head. I'm thankful right now to be surrounded by those Whose lives touch me more than they'll ever possibly know. Have a blessed Thanksgiving. Thank you so much for your friendship. Peace,God bless ~Angelica~
