ARISTYLES: The San Francisco native and Filipino American emcee is nearly 10 years deep in mastering the craft of rhyming while at the same time using it as a tool to disrupt the status quo and to expose social contradictions. From local festivals, showcases, club events, to numerous community benefits, Aristyles has witnessed conscious hip hop music as effective vehicle to not only unite people across all culture but to also encourage collective as well as personal resistance against institutions of oppression. Whether it is producing or performing live, Aristyles intends to continue creating music that is socially conscious and sometimes controversial.
Aristyles has recently finished his second CD project entitled "PROCESS" as well as produce a number of beats for the Filipino Community Center's Hip Hop Workshop CD project, which is now available. He is currently working numerous projects from solo tracks to multiple collaborations.
