It was an added bonus I regularly attend
I've never heard of them

The annual Arizona Renaissance Festival is an unique and exciting special event located just east of Apache Junction on Hwy 60. The gorgeous outdoor setting is a wonderful way to spend the day with family and friends. The Arizona Renaissance Festival is several Festivals rolled into one. The 30 acre recreated Renaissance Village boast 12 stages of non-stop entertainment featuring music, dance, circus entertainments, and comedy for all ages. The village marketplace features over 200 artist, crafters, and vendors selling unique handcrafted items made right before your eyes such as custom made-to-order leather goods, blown glassware, and pottery. There are games and people powered rides. With giant smoked turkey legs, marinated steak-on-a-stake, roasted chicken, stews, ale, wine, and much, much more...the Festival menu is truly a feast fit for a King! And remember, don't miss the Knights on horseback jousting in a tournament to the death!

2010 Dates: The Festival is open Saturdays and Sundays, from February 6th through March 28th, as well as Presidents' Day Monday.



Hours: 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. rain or shine.



Location: The Festival is seven miles east of Apache Junction on US Highway 60.



Parking: FREE courtesy of Fry's Food and Drug Stores.



Tickets: You can always save with discount tickets at Fry's Food and Drug Stores - $18.00/adults and $8.00/children (5-12). Tickets purchased on the day of the show will be $2 higher. Senior (60 and over) tickets are $17.00 and are only available on the day of the show at the Main Gate Ticket Booth.
