The Arkansas State Oldtime Fiddler's Association, Northwest Chapter was Organized in 1973. The object of the Arkansas State Oldtime Fiddler's Association is to bring musicians together on an non-competitive basis to promote and enjoy music -- especially fiddle music. The first president was Ray Wade, followed by Marie Wade, Boone Carlon, Dale Sigmon, Marion Johnson, Doyle Snodgrass, Walter Hight, Calvin Sutton, Tom Wheeler, David Griffith, Dave Argo, Cliff Jenkins, Lonzo Hale, Dewey Taylor and Babette Allen. The association meets regularly, the second Sunday of each month. We also have an all-day jam in January, a summer camp-out in July and a fall fest (campout) in September.
