Arkhe was formed in 2006 in Istanbul,Turkey by Oğuzhan(guitars, vocals) and Kaan(bass,backvocals) who has been fellows since 1997.
Between October and November 2006, Oguzhan and Kaan started to make "music" with their drummer friend Berk Öndeşgil. However, Berk was so busy because of his other bands. So the band delayed their musical desires for a moment.
They made sound checks with Erinç Fırtına(drums) twice. In November 2006, Eren Devrimci(drums) and Özdemir Albayram (guitars) joined to the band. Consequently, the band was formed "officially" named "Vantilator"
Vantilator played for amount of times except for some breaks till May 2007. However, the band stopped their sound checks for 4 months because of some problems.
In October 2007, Kaan(bass) met Emir Demirdag(drums) on the internet. They decided that Emir is appropriate for the band and the band was appropriate for Emir=)
The %25 new band, started to play, ran an eye over to old covers. They covered couple songs too. Later on, Vantilatör re-united in the name of "Taganni" which means to sing in old Turkish Language. However, the band's former bassist Kaan Aslan left the band because of personal reasons and formed his own band, Climax. After this, Taganni decided to give a break to their musical career but they re-united couple months later with the new bassist Eren Turgut under the name of Arkhe which means the starting point. Nowadays, Arkhe performing their new songs and looking for releasing their forthcoming demo album.Emir Demirdağ and Özdemir Albayram left the band.
