Ark Recordings was founded by Russell Warby & Jamie Davis in December 05.

It is distributed by PIAS in The United Kingdom.

Russell Warby is also a booking agent and represents The White Stripes, The Strokes, Foo Fighters (present) and Elliot Smith & Nirvana (past).

Jamie Davis co-owned and ran Transcopic Records with Graham Coxon for 7 years.
