Yes, well what you are listening to know are examples of collaborations with various musicians. Mostly I am a singer/songwriter-lyricist (I write the vocal melodies and am inspired by what the musicians create).
"Fallen" - this song is especially dear to me so please forgive any vocal abnormalities. It's a single-take and live - no alterations to my voice of any kind. Old style, mic'd the acoustic and the voice and just hit 'record'. Done at my friend Eliah's house one very late evening when we were trying not to wake the neighbor lady, but HAD to create this song. Still one of my favorite performances because it was sung 'in character', as if on stage. I can hear the edge in my voice, it's ready to crack at any minute - just like the character singing the song. I imaging it is from a play, where someone is lost in their life - are at a party and enter a small room away from everyone and they sing this song. So close to everyone and yet so far away.....
"Morgan's Dream" - another newly uploaded song - this one written in it's entirety after a friend told me about his experience with astral dreaming. I remember writing a poem inspired by his story, and not realizing it was a song, just yet. It just seemed to wrote itself and is not my usual style, which is always exciting to me as an artist. I was working with a producer at the time who had created a CD full of backing music and after writing a full page of lyrics found that the poem fit perfectly to one of the songs I had been reviewing for selection. The addition of a chorus overran the actual length of the musical track, and the producer was surprised that I made a choice to add the a capella ending, until after the final track was laid and the mix completed. I must say I am still happy with the ghostly voice-over and purposely eerie harmonic selections.

The show was tight it took 2 songs to warm the crowd up and my mike on the cello was all low on the california love song but we killled them on the last track you know the Future Hero song!!lol Im glad you like the videos and lyrics and Ima keep taking my time to perfect my craft cause I got some other shows in New York coming up on the 18th of march! Oh and about the baby hes just fine last time I left Houston he had a fever but my sister said hes feeling a whole lot better, so whats up witcha are you doing any events with King Ryan anytime soon?
