Armagedon, a band with a long career in Mexico's metal scene, and established in Rosarito -Tijuana, B.C. Mexico.
Armagedon, with a style labeled as Power Metal with their 5 members joining forces to produce a mix of heavy rhythms, classical influenced guitar solos and death metal styled drum works (specially on the new songs)
Their influences are from those Great Bands that have made history in the metal scene such as: Rainbow, Judas Priest, Iron Maiden & Dio, and some contemporary bands too. Armagedon updates and solidifies their sound year after year.
In January 1988 they got the third place in the Nation Wide contest "Rock in your Language" organized by BMG Ariola, and their song "Without You" was included on the contest compiled album.
All their songs are written and sung in Spanish with subjects that go from politics to protest to spirituality. In 1992 they recorded their first record self-titled, which was on sale through Altar Records a small independent record label.
In 1995 their second album called Ecologia came out, it was self-produced first and later re-edited and distributed by Sarzo Music, the record label from Rudy Sarzo, better known by his work as a bass player with Ozzy Osbourne, Quiet Riot, Whitesnake, Yngwie Malmsteen and recently with Dio.
Armagedon has performed as an opening act for bands like Extreme, Alice in Chains, Alex Massi and recently Vince Neil (Motley Crue). Also has shared the stage with famous mexican bands like Luzbel, Caifanes, Maldita Vecindad, Café Tacuba, Santa Sabina, La Lupita, Cuca, El Tri, Transmetal and Rostros Ocultos, also with Miguel Mateos and Rata Blanca from Argentina and Angeles del Infierno from Spain.
Some performances include: U.S.A.: The Roxy Theater and China Town in Los Angeles area, In San Diego: Sound FX, Sports Arena, Blue Meannie Records and Qualcomm Stadium, In Oakland: Raiders Stadium Miami, Fl. and Chicago, Ill. Mexico: Mexico City, Guadalajara, Jal., Sonora and Baja California.
Their Third album Tittled “El Imperio del Mal” (The Evil Empire) is on sale now on CD Baby as well as several stores across Baja California.
Armagedon is currently working (2009) on a new album as well as a 4 song EP that will release independently and will be one of a kind recording for fans only.

El departamento de oncologia pediatrica del Hospital General de Tijuana los invita a un evento para recabar fondos, el cual se llevara a cabo el dia 3 de septiembre a partir de las 12 pm en la explanada del ICBC (entre los 2 palacios en la zona del Rio)con actividades para niños y a las 5 pm iniciara el concierto en el teatro del ICBC con bandas como La Cruz, Torno, ADG, ArkhangeL, Alchemist y Vachteria. El costo sera de 50 pesos y con el boleto se rifara una guitarra. Es un evento para todas las edades. Recuenden todo lo recabado sera para los Nisños con Cancer del Hospital General de Tijuana. Gracias por apoyar a esta noble causa.
