General
I enjoy almost anything from taking a peaceful walk in the woods, looking for shells on a sandy beach, to attending rock concerts and riding upside down on a rollercoaster. I also love taking pictures of animals, nature, and just about any event or special occasion I want to preserve the memory of...so I can go back to that moment anytime...and smile.

Salutations!....
I was born and raised in Meriden, CT. After college, I decided to see more of the country. I moved to San Antonio and lived there 5 years but missed the snow and change of seasons, so I moved to Colorado Springs. After 4 years in Colorado, it was time to return to New England where I've remained the past 17 years........
I have many different interests, but music has always been a big part of my life. Married to a high school music teacher, of course there's always music playing somewhere in our house. I also enjoy dabbling with writing song lyrics, and am hoping to find time to pick up my old guitar again.....
My favorite music includes Styx, Boston, Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Asia, Ian Anderson, Shaw-Blades, Kenny Loggins, David Bowie, Bon Jovi, Harry Chapin (whom I had the greatest pleasure to see play at my college auditorium before his wonderful stories and music were tragically taken from us), along with numerous other rock groups from the 70's and 80's.....
I was fortunate (some may say lucky) enough to attend the first 3 Shaw-Blades shows back in March 2007, and to personally meet Tommy and Jack during their first sound check. I've made some wonderful friends over the past few years, largely due to the internet and our common musical interests, and am always looking to meet others who have the same passion and love of music......
I also enjoy nature and being outdoors, hiking, camping, skiing, volleyball, gymnastics and spending time with family and friends........
We have an assortment of animals: a dog, 2 cats, 2 cockatiels, a guinea pig, a roosters and 10 hens - and yes, the rooster and hens all have names!..........
My hobbies include making an assortment of crafts, writing poetry and song lyrics, gardening in the summer, going to concerts when I can.......and making new friends.......so feel free to stop by and say "hello."

My dear friend Armanda, words cannot share what your friendship means to me darlin'.... The peace within my heart and soul that comes from your images and words that you never fail to leave upon my world, and the inner smile I can always feel because you are someone whose words I can always trust and believe in.... I wrote the last poem to inspire myself as well as many others that think the weight is getting too heavy to carry, even with broken wings, as long as there is life, there is hope.... I read everything you always send to me and cherish the thought of having someone who's never even met me, know who I am on the inside so well that you can connect within my mind as well as my heart and my soul, and to me, not only do I cherish what you say, but I believe you as a person are a gift to all that are lucky enough to know you and get to call you their friend, and I thank you....
