My Ancestors. On all three continents and in the ocean currents of the Middle Passage routes of the slavetrade are my heros. They lived their lives with us in mind. "Us" who would come after them. All of us on the planet right now. Right Now, we all have one thing in common. We all had people who at some time paved the way for us. They worked, be it unethical or ethical, worked, worshipped and lived with the commitment of making sure their daughters, sons, grandchildren, great-grand, great-great-grandchildren had a better life than they had. And for many of us it was enough for us to have a pretty blessed life when we think about it. I can only hope I have done half as much as they have by the time I leave this world.

Other people dealing with ILD's. Other people who are "a work in progress" also. Other "book" people. Other "pod" people -LOL! Anyone with a sense of humor! Anyone else who is a history lover also.

Beautiful picture! I miss you too. I've been a little off the mark since my moms' amputation. Not depressed really, just tired all the time. But I will come back to myself soon I think! Hope you are doing very well. Settled in? Still loving your new digs?

Lynn, I love the tranquility of Tagore’s poem. It offers me calmness, even when I am wrapped in the whirlwind of creation.
May inspiration greet you each day,

Today I am not sending fancy graphics or symbols of implication. Today I am sending words from my Heart to Yours. Today my heart is full It is full of Love, Joy and Expectation. Tomorrow it will be most Full. A lot of Hopes will be fulfilled on January 20, 2009
This day has come about through many Powerful Words. Words that people have Lived by, Sacrificed for and Died for; “By any Means Necessary” “I Have a Dream” “Hope” etc. These words have resounded in my life at various stages, as I am certain in yours as well. The key word here is "Belief". The Speakers actually believed what they were saying and so be it Manifestation in its Glory! If you Believe, Dreams do come true!!!!!! They really do!
A few words from Dr. Martin Luther King “I may not get there with you. But I want you to know tonight, that we, as a people, will get to the promised land. And I'm happy, tonight. I'm not worried about anything. I'm not fearing any man. Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord.”
To MLK Happy Birthday and Thank You for Having a Dream!
Today I am Happy we can share this Moment in Time “Yes, We Can” Have a Wonderful Evening!
