YOUR NAME IN MY SKIN REVIEWS
“This Melbourne band has quickly built a reputation by blowing off stage many of the acts they’re supporting. This debut EP (partly produced by Gotye) is striking stuff. While they serve up brooding rock (Fall For You) and stoner rock (Only I Know You), the money shot is the haunting, hypnotic Porch Dweller”. 3.5 stars, Herald Sun
“…the Melbourne five-piece blend ridiculously catchy rockers (‘In The Water’) with stirring, slow-paced balladry (‘Porch Dweller’)”. 9/10, Tsunami Magazine
“Moody, dynamic, and layered, the recording offers a sonically thrilling insight into the minds of these five young artists”. MP3.com.au
“Check this out before their name is not just on your skin, but on the tip of everyone’s tongue”. TheDwarf.com.au
"I get the feeling good things are on the horizon for this bunch". Richard Kingsmill, Triple J
"A mixture of conventionalism and innovation is what Armen Firman do best on Your Name in My Skin". ObscureSound.com
"The EP is moody and a little self-indulgent in moments but hey, sometimes that’s precisely what people want out of their music". Rave Magazine
“Brilliant”. Edge Radio Recommended Release. Edge Radio, Tasmania
Soundscape Feature Release. Triple R, Melbourne

PORCH DWELLER REVIEWS
"Further proof that Armen Firman might just be one of Melbourne's best unsung bands". Beat Magazine
"Whilst it reaches a glorious pinnacle at its conclusion, with James Saunders really hitting his straps vocally, it’s the gentle hum of the organ, the sparseness of the guitar, the overall sensation of restraint that reveals Armen Firman’s greatest strength". Wireless Bollinger.com
"The song is a sombre and thoughtful creeper... achingly beautiful". iTunes
"A fantastic new track from the young Melbourne band". The Dwarf.com.au
"It's a promising glimpse, with 'Porch Dweller' gaining instant attention without resorting to cheap loud noises to do so". Tsunami Magazine

Long Lost Cause is an amazing song, heard it with 'new ears' today and am surprised I didn't notice it before, lying unassuming beneath the Porch Dweller and In the Water. Await a new album with great expectations
Hey there, Special Patrol are coming to Melbourne this sat 24th to launch their new album at The John Curtin Band Room. Come check it out there is free beer!
G'day Come on down to the Tote on Sunday the 27th of September to celebrate the end of another Footy season. The back line will be ably defended by Gruntbucket. Coming off the bench to take their position on the wing are Dirty York. Winning the ball at all the stoppages will be the mighty mid field attack of The Get Go. They'll send the ball rocketing toward the fantastic forward line of Clinkerfield who are sure to kick a swag of goals. There'll be plenty of snags on the barbie to help with the hangover.
As a band, it’s our job to make new music and then post annoying and impersonal msgs on our friend's pages telling them that we've made new music
We thought it proper to let you know we’re doing our job. We’d like to invite you to listen to our debut single Pixelation. You can have a cheeky sample on our Myspace page, or download, rate or review the FULL VERSION single and two bonus tracks here.
We'd love to hear what you think!
Much love, the Leads. x
