ARMENIAN es un grupo zaragozano que nació como tributo a System
of a Down, sin embargo, pronto comenzaron a crear su propio estilo.
Su música bebe de varios géneros: metal, rock, hardcore o funky se funden para crear una mezcla original y característica en la que también se atreven a introducir detalles del blues, orientales o ambientales.
Al margen de la parte musical, sus conciertos no son una mera
reproducción de los temas, sino que son un espectáculo lleno de
energía, colorido y diversión. Apoyándose en una imagen impactante
y siendo conocidos por saber transmitir desde el escenario todo tipo
de sentimientos, rabia o serenidad, alegría o melancolía, su show es
garantía de entretenimiento para todo tipo de público. Este interés por hacer de un concierto algo más que una audición de música les llevó a ser nominados en 2009 a los X Premios de la Música Aragonesa en la categoría de “Mejor Directo” junto a Amaral, Bunbury y Jahsta.
Su discografía consta de dos demos autoeditadas y un primer disco, “Teatro de Emociones”, fruto del premio al mejor grupo en la categoría rock del concurso aragonés PopyRock’08, en el que participaban más
de 100 propuestas. "Teatro de Emociones" está grabado y mezclado en 2009 en Zaragoza bajo la producción de Paco Muñoz (Sick Brains, Los Gandules) y masterizado en Masterdisk Studios de Nueva York por
Andy VanDette (Beastie Boys, Rush, Kannon, Hora Zulu). En este
disco además se incluye el videoclip del tema "La historia del niño
cuchillo", grabado por KJ Producciones en 2008.

ARMENIAN is a group from Zaragoza (Spain) that was born like a tribute of the System of a Down band, however they soon began to create their own style. Their music derives from different styles: metal, rock, hardcore or funky; they are all merged to create an original and characteristic mixture in which they also dare introducing details from the blues, oriental or piped music.
Apart from the musical aspect, their concerts are not just a mere reproduction of their themes, but a show full of energy, colour and fun, supported by a stunning image. They are well known for their talent in communicating well on stage lots of different feelings, anger or tranquility, happiness or melancholy. Their show is a guarantee of entertainment for any kind of public. This interest of converting a concert in more than a music audition gave them the nomination of the Tenth Awards of the Aragon's music in 2009, for the Best Show category, together with Amaral, Bunbury and Jahsta.
Their recording is composed by two self-brought out demos and their first CD, “Teatro de emociones” (Theatre of emotions), fruit of the Best band award won in the Popyrock'08 Aragon's competition inside the rock category, in which there were participating more than one hundred proposals.
“Teatro de emociones” has been recorded and mixed in Zaragoza in 2009, under the production of Paco Muñoz (Sick Brains, Los Gandules) and it has been mastered in Masterdisk Studios in New York City by Andy Vandette (Beastie Boys, Rush, Kannon, Hora Zulu). It is also included in this disk a videoclip of the “La historia del niño cuchillo” ( The knife boy's story) theme, recorded by KJ productions in 2008.
