About me:
Welcome to the Armor Guitar Company profile! I would like to thank you for visiting my page. Each instrument that bears the name Armor Guitars is individually hand crafted by luthier James Peters. I am a 35-year veteran of the musical stage along with 25 years experience in woodworking and instrument repair. With this experience, as a musician and a luthier, I create guitars with a noticeably resonate tone and are a true pleasure to play. Focusing on only the finest woods and material available, each guitar is a work of art with months of labor involved.
If you are interested in your very own custom guitar, that has the quality, the tone, the perfect Armor to fight in todays music scene, feel free to write or visit my developing website by clicking on the weblink to the left.

Subject: Guitar repair and going the extra mile

Body:
Recently some of my relatives from Arkansas decided to visit the Nashville area. Upon planning for the trip, I learned that a musician cousin (Ray) had a guitar that was in need of repair. The 30 year old instrument had never had any repair and was becoming very hard to play aside of the wear and tear of placing set after set of new strings on it over a 30 year period. Least to say, most everything that could be repaired needed it. I called James to schedule the work. (Better call ahead). After we made our plans, we delivered the instrument to James at the said time. James gave a very thorough evaluation of the repairs needed and also gave a opinion on repairs that may be needed in the future. James was able to complete the needed repairs during the time relatives were in Nashville. James contacted us when the repairs were complete. The results were astounding !! When Ray picked up the guitar, he raved that the guitar had never played and sounded so well. No string rattles or buzzing, the action was lower and more playable/chordable, and a much richer sound than ever before.

Now, the "going the extra mile" part
James decided to put Ray and his guitar in position to "sound off" with other jammers and pickers, and invited a few folks to his home to pick a while. After a time, Ray was suddenly in his element again, picking and singing with local pickers. We were not sure at this point whether Ray was enjoying the new found tone and volume of his repaired guitar, or warmed by that fact that someone would take the time to bring a few folks in to play some good music. Nevertheless, it was a great experience and well appreciated. James not only has a keen knowledge about instrument building and repair, but also has a sharp sense of human need. If you have an instrument repaired or built by Armor Guitars, will you get a jam session too? Don't know, but what you will get is: professional work, you will gain a friend, and become involved with a network of loyal people that have had a great experience with Armor Guitars.

Hats off again James, for another success.
