We are four young men from Wisconsin who find ourselves in and out of often-times dreary jobs. Our favorite haunt is a modified factory floor in the industrial sector of our hometown, where we practice, record songs, and make plans. We really want to play your town. "Arms Aloft’s Comfort At Any Cost ep is the perfect recipe for punk rock fun: Loud, crunchy guitars; neck-break speed drumming, smart-mouthed vocals; sing-alongs; fun times. 8 out of 10."-Juan Diniz (mammothpress.com)
"Sometimes I have a tendency to judge a book by its cover. That happened to be the case with this record. I saw plain white text that looked like some stencil work over a predominately black and white background, all nicely hand-screened and hand-numbered. I assumed it was going to [be] on the crustier end of things, and i couldn't have been more wrong. ARMS ALOFT plays some nearly perfectly executed catchy punk that sounds so Midwestern it's almost cliche. just imagine any of your favorite Midwest bands; I won't even bother picking one to associate with these guys, as they will soon be a band to whom others will be compared as an influence. Go crack an Old Style and drink it by yourself while listening to ARMS ALOFT to get the full experience." -Brian Dooley (Maxiumum Rock & Roll)
"Hailing from Wisconsin, Arms Aloft are quite a surprise with their 7” debut Comfort at Any Cost. This four-song EP follows up a demo recording released last year. The four-piece outfit have concocted an upbeat mixture of punk and rock and roll. Arms Aloft has a definite Hot Water Music sound, but with a bit more of a rock feel at points as well. Stylistically they incorporate a fair amount of melody like Samiam and Jawbreaker did back in the day. I'm a pretty big fan of what I'm hearing on this record. I really love it when I find a new band. Thank you for sending this to me. Pick up a copy of this (they're working on a second pressing already)." -Michael (Scene Point Blank)
