Last year Connecticut/New York’s Arms and Legs became the first American band to sign to Modern Sky Records, releasing his rootsy debut “Everything Is Gonna Be Okay” shortly after signing and performing at the first ever Modern Sky Festival last October. Scott Daly, the sole songwriter and consistent member of Arms and Legs, blends the pastoral sounds of 60’s folk with a modern, indie sensibility. With at times no more than a voice and a guitar, the sparse beauty of his songs are dressed up with little fanfare. What results are 13 tracks of pure, classic songwriting and New York sensibility, coming straight to you from Beijing, China.
