14.05.09 Hey friends! It's been a while. A lot has been happening with us over the last few months. We've had our debut single/video release, which is going awesome. Thanks for all your support/requesting! We've also been super busy behind the scenes organising everything for our album release. But, we're stoked that we're now hitting the road again and playing a tonne of shows throughout May and June. We can't wait to get back out there to hang out and party with you all. Make sure you check our tour dates on our myspace cos' we'll be coming to a town near you :)

13.10.08 Yo! So, we finished tracking for the album last week after laying down all the claps and oohh's and aahh's. We're so stoked with how everything has turned out and can't wait to share these songs with you all. We played our first show in four months on Saturday at In His Honour. Thanks to everyone who came out to party with us, we had heaps of fun! It was also Marty's last show, which made it extra special to all of us. We all love Marty heaps and wish him well for the future. If you haven't had a chance to say goodbye to him yet, drop him a note on the myspace. New video update will be up soon, as well as our new drummer announcement & new shows. Stay tuned! =D

Hey you!! We're are still in the studio, but we are on the home straight! We have almost finished tracking! Then we'll just be waiting on the mixing and mastering to be done and then we can get out on the road and play it all to you beautiful people!! We should have a brand new studio update soon as well so make sure you stay tuned. As most of you know, Marty has left the band, his last how will be at In His Honor 08 so make sure you come along tell him how awesome he is and say your goodbyes. After In His Honor we will also be announcing our brand new drummer as well as summer tours!! It's all so exciting isn't it?! Hope to see you all soon! Much love.

Hello world! After three weeks of pre-production we have started tracking!! Today was the first day Marty started laying down some sweet beats and they are sounding amazing already. It's all very exciting! We also have our first studio update up youtube and on our myspace (below) so make sure you check it out and see what we've been up to! As well as that we have added our first show (we know it's been ages!!)!! It's In His Honor festival and there is an amazing line up of bands so make sure you get along to it, check www.inhishonor.co.nz for more details. Thats all for now! Hey yo!! How are you all!? We are just about to head into day 3 of pre-production for our debut album!! It's real exciting and the songs are sounding awesome! We're all really happy with how everything is coming together and can't wait till you guys can all get your hands on our new songs!! We should have a studio video blog starting soon so make sure you keep and eye and ear out for that! Hello everyone! As most of you know we're writing for our debut album, which in turn is getting closer...and closer! As well as the album being on the horizon, Adam's birthday is next Wednesday!! So you should make sure you give him a big 'happy birthday' and a present...or just buy the album when it comes out, that would also be super! On a more serious note, we won't be playing any shows until after we finish the album. We hope to see all your smiling faces towards the end of the year when we start playing shows again...we're going to miss you heaps!

Hey dudes! hope you all are swell. just wanted to say a huge thank you for your response to Grinding Teeth. We were all a bit worried that people wouldn't like the change but you guys have been the best! You can expect our album to sound a lot more a long those lines, and if you come along to a show sometime soon you'll be able to hear a couple of other treats! thanks for being the best people ever!

ARMS REACH brings the party to the people with infectious pop melodies and an energetic live show. With a fresh flavour comprised of rock, pop, and electronica – this self proclaimed ‘Dance-Rock’ outfit are determined to put a smile on your face and a groove to your step.

Recognised as one of the most hardworking bands on the New Zealand scene, the collective effort from Alex Price (vocals/guitar), Adam Fitness (bass/vocals), Jimmy Mac (drums), and Jonny Carson (guitar) have pushed the boundaries of industry independence.

Relentless touring and self-promotion, having completed two North Island tours and over 150 shows, has seen the band generate a devoted fan base nationally, and overseas, “We try not to have egos, our fans are our friends, we’re no more important than anybody else”. While the band has always emphasised the importance of having fun, “Good times, all the time”, they take their music seriously.

“We are really striving to do something different musically now”, says Alex. Their independently released 2006 EP ‘Songs About Goodbyes’, and 2008’s ‘The Mega Awesome Extreme EP’ have both sold out and the band is now focussing on new material, “We’re way more finding our own sound instead of just emulating other bands, we’re finding what we really want to sound like”.

ARMS REACH entered the studio in August to record their debut album set for release in Winter 09, and have ambitions to tour the album internationally. Don’t miss the party that is ‘ARMS REACH’…you’re all invited!
