Arnaud Krakowka is a guitarplayer. He's originally from the south of France but lives currently in the north of Holland.
Krakowka was originally inspired by classic rock bands such as Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Jimi Hendrix.
Classical music, especially the Baroque genre, changed his way of considering music and composing completely; it gave him the desire to learn the musical theory. This made him think outside the box of the rockgenre and discover many different scales to play in and create unexpected combinations of styles. The instrumental rock scene (Yngwie Malmsteen, Uli Jon Roth, Jason Becker) has also had a big impact on him, because it led to the creation of his own specific solo style.
All of those influences made him the original and versatile guitarist/composer he is today. Its impossible to put this neo-classical/ blues/heavy metal/progressive/ psychedelic/rock musician in a box!
Arnaud Krakowka has had a lot of bands in the past, but in the end nothing has ever really worked on a serious level. Krakowka is very passionate about his music. He is a professional who has high standards considering quality and ambition. His ambition is mainly to make music by passion and sharing his creations in front of a big audiance. It turned out that most of the people he played with didn't share his vision and ambition.
That’s when he decided to try to reach his goals on his own. Therefeore he recorded two demos (Marike Tapes and Afternoon Session) in the summer of 2008 which gave him some exposure on myspace. In march 2009 Krakowka created his own recording studio in his house in Warffum, Holland: AK Studio and started working on his first solo album. He recorded, produced, mixed and mastered eight of his own compositions. On these he plays all the electric and acoustic guitars and programmed bass, keyboard, drum and organ. Parallel Dimensions was finished in may 2009 and sent out to be printed. On the 30th of june 2009 Parallel Dimensions was officially released. The main goal of the album is to get attention from record labels, so that Krakowka's musical carreer will be launched! However, the album is also available exclusively on this site for those who already want to enjoy his music. Four tracks have been made available to pre-listen, enjoy!
