   A. Robert Kaufman's Blurbs
About me:
I was assaulted in June, 2005. As a direct result my kidneys failed. I am desperately looking for a donor. If you are interested in talking, give me a call at 410.318.8404. <...> Bob Kaufman has been a social activist since 1947. At the age of 16, he became an active civil rights demonstrator, walking picket lines and organizing to end segregation at Baltimore’s Ford's Theater. Later through C.O.R.E. sit-ins at Kreskys, Woolworths and Grants, Read's drug store chain, and White coffee pot chainpicketing theaters in Baltimore that excluded Blacks. He began to understand the logic of class struggle at Goddard College in Vermont in the early 1950s where he studied and eventually became a socialist. He is running as a socialist in the Democratic Primary for Mayor of Baltimore. Over the last four decades, he’s been teaching, writing, marching, organizing, and getting himself arrested over civil rights, and civil liberties fights. While using elections as bully platforms to spread his socialist ideas.

Thank you for all your dedication and hard work over the years to make Baltimore a better place. I look forward to working with you in City Hall with a little luck and if the voters show some wisdom.
