Aron Cowen is a singer/songwriter who creates his own brand of melodic pop music. Aron has opened up for Elektra Recording Artist Alana Davis, and also Benny Mardones, who wrote and peformed, "Into The Night", the most played radio song of all time! Born and raised in Los Angeles, California, Aron grew up obsessed with The Beatles, James Taylor, and Simon & Garfunkel. After taking up the guitar at age 15, began playing in bands, writing songs and performing whenever and wherever he could. While attending college in Santa Cruz, Aron formed and played electric lead guitar for an eight-piece funk band called Archive. After graduating, Aron began to focus more on writing melodies for the acoustic guitar. There was just something about the acoustic guitar that soothed his soul and made him feel at home. He drew from his many influences; James Taylor, Simon & Garfunkel, Indigo Girls, as well as his experience as a camp songleader, and began to craft a style which focused on melody, powerful live performance and soulful guitar stylings. Aron moved back home to Los Angeles to dedicate himself to music. Aron consistently delights crowds with his enthusiastic performances and his captivating voice. He has played at many distinguished L.A. clubs such as The Mint, The Hollywood Palladium, The Hard Rock Cafe, The Viper Room, and The Roxy on Sunset; where he has opened up for acts such as Elektra Recording Artist Alana Davis. Aron has even jammed on congas with Ozamatli.
