Neste veículo de comunicação que é o MySpace e para podermos chegar com facilidade a um público mais abrangente, usaremos o inglês como língua franca para disponibilizarmos os nossos conteúdos e podermos fazer crescer a visibilidade dos arrefole a todas as comunidades espalhadas por esse mundo fora.
Since their gathering, the sole goal of these musicians was to create music. Wherever their influences would lead them, it would always be their music and, as such, a rightful representation of their culture.
Born in an urban environment, the band recreates a listening experience overlapping a rural background. Their quest for instruments lost in time, contrasts with the use of those that just lie around, from which they cannot escape. They are forever stuck between tradition and modernity, between a time they insist is not yet over and a new one they are certain has already begun.
These musicians let their surroundings and the circumstances of their people drive their music.
There is no innovation without tradition and no tradition will endure without innovation.
1. “arre” is a portuguese commanding word for inciting beasts, mules and other animals, usually used in helping agricultural tasks like pulling carts, ploughs and other hardware.
2. “fole” is translation for “bag”, related to the bagpipe.

Outra novidade, os MU vão ter no nosso merchandising VINHO TINTO - MU, da região demarcada do Douro. Neste momento está na fase mágica de transformação da uva em néctar - vindimas, e em breve vamos tê-lo à venda nos concertos!

E porque foi bom ouvir um pouco do som da guitarra a tocar a Júlio Pereira.. E foi lindo cantar (ainda que mal..) a Saia Velhinha para o Nuno.. (onde andava o homem da gaita que deveria estar nessa Jam?? )..
This years festival is headlined by Billy Bragg (Friday), Seth Lakeman (Sunday) and Peatbog Faeries (Saturday) with many more top artists also performing incl the award winning The Demon Barbers.
