Someday I hope to be Lady Heather
Books
A wealthy old lady decides to go on a photo safari in Africa , taking her faithful, elderly poodle named Cuddles, along for the company.
One day the old poodle starts chasing butterflies and before long, Cuddles discovers that he's lost. Wandering about, he notices a leopard heading rapidly in his direction with the intention of having lunch.
The old poodle thinks, "Oh, oh! I'm in deep doo-doo now!" Noticing some bones on the ground close by, he immediately settles down to chew on the bones with his back to the approaching cat. Just as the leopard is about to leap the old poodle exclaims loudly, "Boy, that was one delicious leopard! I wonder if there are any more around here?"
Hearing this, the young leopard halts his attack in mid -strike, a look of terror comes over him and he slinks away into the trees. "Whew!", says the leopard, "That was close! That old poodle nearly had me!"
Meanwhile, a monkey who had been watching the whole scene from a nearby tree, figures he can put this knowledge to good use and trade it for protection from the leopard. So off he goes, but the old poodle sees him heading after the leopard with great speed, and figures that something must be up.
The monkey soon catches up with the leopard, spills the beans and strikes a deal for himself with the leopard.
The young leopard is furious at being made a fool of and says, "Here, monkey, hop on my back and see what's going to happen to that conniving canine!
Now, the old poodle sees the leopard coming with the monkey on his back and thinks, "What am I going to do now?", but instead of running, the dog sits down with his back to h is attackers, pretending he hasn't seen them yet, and just when they get close enough to hear, the old poodle says...
"Where's that monkey? I sent him off an hour ago to bring me another leopard!"
Moral of this story....
Don't mess with the old dogs...age and skill will always overcome youth and treachery! Bullcrap and brilliance only come with age and experience.
Heroes
My Mom she is just awesome. My husband for putting up with me and my chickens; My Granny, I miss her so much. Grandpa Dennis for all you helped me with when I was a kid.
My biggest heroes are the men and women who are survivors and those that fought the battle and lost.

About me: I am a stay home mom of 3 (1 boy and 2 girls) 1 spare girl (my niece), 3 cats and 1 miniature poodle. Love the life and would not trade it for anything. My friends are also a big part of my life. It is so difficult to find true friendship, so when you find it, hang on tight, take care of them and you cant lose. I do have other interests, I love to make jewelry. Now I am teaching myself how to make my own beads, it is so much fun to create little glass beauties. I mostly love to play with my beads. I have a need to organize them over and over. That is my ADD, I chase chickens all day.. I also love to have parties. My fabulous husband and we have parties about every three months. Always tons of fun. I am quite easy to get along with, I enjoy talking to people, exchanging ideas, learning something new. I am not interested in dating - happily married lady here - or anything in between.
I hate spam, I will not send you any, please do not send it to me. I accept most friend requests, I will check out your profile before I accept.

This is a poem written by Poetic Roar, I have his permission to post this.
Mr. Internet Predator
What makes spoken words the open door
To cross lines of honor and integrity?
Lonely souls cast thoughts that kill
In the forms of idle line crossing symmetry
Woman speaks from the soul
As the blind man in the basement haunts
Assuming this virtual playground
Is a stomping ground of advances and flaunts
I feel misread on a daily basis
As people attatch to the word swinger
Assuming I am the eyes of the dark
Preying on where vulnerability lingers
Just because I talk to you
Doesn't mean I am inside you
Just because I love the sharing
Doesn't means personal space is consumed
Some people need a life
Step back into the realms of reality
Know the difference between wrong and right
And enjoy the principle of pure fantasy
Mr. Internet stalker I got many words for you
This place of communal sharing
Is not your personal invite to harass
As roars teeth start baring
Just because women show their breasts
Doesn't mean they want to give it to you
Just because women open up online
Doesn't give you the right to break the rules
If I had the power to persuade the stalker
I would be more than just mean
Watch your face splatter in the reality
That you just impacted the computer screen
One message is loud and clear
When the woman says stop
Respect that woman, that friend, that human
Or face the power of the block
It's easy to get jaded this time of year Let's fight that, shall we? Wake up every day with new hope Turn off your brain and let your spirit dream Reach out and grab happiness where you can find it Regardless of the scorn and scrutiny of others I am living proof that it is never too late! love, ~M~
