I love you guys because youre different pretty much from anything else out there and you rock!
You guys have what it takes. You can tell as soon as you hit the stage and bust into the first few chords; these guys arent amateurs!
I swear I am your number one fan! I mean, who drives all they way from Vancouver, WA to San Francisco, CA just to see Arrows For Eros play music!?
When the 5 remaining members of one of the few mildly successful ska acts from the Pacific Northwest known as The Ted Dancin' Machine decided to change their professional alias along with their musical ideals in January of 2005, they would have never expected the reaction from fans like the ones quoted above. But today, it is not uncommon at any given performance for fans, seasoned or new, to express how elated they are to see and hear one of the hottest up and coming bands of the decade.
Armed only with their completely self-produced, designed, funded, and released EP A Crime of Passion, Arrows For Eros is already taking the music scene by storm among alternative commercial, independent and Internet radio listeners around the world, adding to an ever-growing fan base. Whats their secret?
Leave no stone unturned!
The creativity of this band stems from so many musical tastes and backgrounds that Arrows For Eros would simply feel uncomfortable sticking to a simple musical formula. To keep it fresh and edgy, they do what any true rockers do they break the rules. Expect jazz to meet punk; metal to meet soul; reggae to meet rock; progressive to meet pop. The possibilities are endless!
Its clear to see each time Chelsea, Derek, Kent, Brett, and Matt hit the stage that its as if the band has become one very excited group of kids in a candy store. With two interstate tours already under their belt, and many more planned for the future, Arrows For Eros is making a decidedly loud and visually stunning impression on every ear and eye that they perform for. Jaws are left dangling, limbs are fatigued and drenched with sweat, and every night the crowd, be it all-ages or restricted, cant seem to get enough Arrows For Eros.
