"There are two prerequisites to being in a late 1990's influenced (or dare i say it rip off band) emotive indie rock band. Number one is you must try to have 'witty' song titles and number two you must refrence literature in a vast effort to make your band seem intelligent to make up for what is lacking in the lyric and music department. Brisbane's Arrows are a clear example of this, the entire record reads like a rip off of every band the Kinsella brothers have ever been in,to hell with this all you really need to do is own the american football record and some Bukowski novels rather than shelling out 20 dollars for this overrated cover band's attempts at bringing a once popular genre back to life" - gareth '405' harding.

Gareth R	Jun 16 2009 7:45 PM Ah it's always great for my critical reviews of arrows to pop up in about me, i really didn't notice you have deleted me from any social websites person although i did notice a lack of people going on a bout the untalented lyricists that are the Kinsella Brothers, that's my point of signing up as a friend of arrows, as that review alludes to the fact that i listen to american football when in fact i wouldn't spend a dollar on that record let alone bands that emulate a rather untalented band of the past, same goes for joan of arc, jawbreaker etc. also i never claimed to be elusive. People who listen to arrows and those said mentioned bands are the same type of people aka cool kids who write off death cab as being sellouts nowadays as they are far too cool to like them but yet we're gasping over them back in 2004, the fact is Ben Gibbard is this generations John Lennon if not better. That is all i have to say on that matter, oh the review can be found in my zine.
