About Arsen Grigoryan

Arsen was born in Armenia in the family of musicians. His father was his first teacher and taught him how to play the accordion.
Arsen has been singing since early childhood. Soon he started also playing the piano in a music school and composing.   In 1995 Arsen started studying the Yerevan State Conservatory. In 1999 he started working alongside with maestro Arthur Grigoryan at the Armenian State Theatre of Music.
  As a composer his first works were in 2000 with Nune Yesayan called "Romance" and a song called "Aprir Misht Parz".
After that he started to work with many Armenian singers and composers. He also found a passion in world music.   In 2002, 2003, 2006 and 2007 he won many prizes in Yerevan, Moscow and Los Angeles. Many of his songs became best songs of the year.  
 He loves listening to Sergey Rakhmaninoff, Stevie Wonder, Harbie Hancock, Astor Piazzolla, Eliane Elias and many other great musicians. 
 "I think I have many songs that can be performed by international artistes. I dream of a day when my music will be recognised in deifferent parts of the world", says Arsen.
