I'm Canadian therefore despite being over-educated I think that poop is the epitome of humour.
My Career:
I'm a teacher (jr. high - high school) and artist by trade. I influence our future generations...
My Habitat:
I can be found in local divey bars, car shows, tattoo parlours, monctonlocals, myspace, the library or various coffee shops, and hold notorious after parties, thought they're few and far between these days.
On Art: I'm a teacher and artist by trade, but it doesn't mean I'm super-human!

"Ticklin' The Strings" by Sweet Hollywaiians
Amazing Japanese hot string band playing 1920's, 30's, 40's style hawaiian, swing, calypso, blues, italian music and originals, featuring vintage instruments.3 songs with Robert Armstrong and Tony Marcus(from Robert Crumb and His Cheap Suit Serenaders)
"The Sweet Hollywaiians have probably the best feel for this 20's music of any string band working today. They manage the rare feat of sounding relaxed even when their playing is hot, are top notch musicians with tasteful arrangements and a full, rich, warm sound.Plus, they have a nice gamut of tunes, from King Nawahi to Giovanni Vicari to Bobby Leecan. See them live, if you can, for an unforgettable experience. If you can't, buy their Cds!" ~ Terry Zwigoff
I totally wanted to hit the east coast with the guys. But they brought the bald guy instead this time. Unfortunate, but shit happens. I don't think I'll make the Hootenanny this year because I'll be at my house on the Gaspe coast. But if that changes somehow, then I will totally be at the Hoot!
So.... it's that time again... do you want to play?!? I'm calling out the Artist in you... not the Art teacher!!! Let me know if you are up to creating Mail Art in exchange with my students! See my blog for more info... ;) I'll try to remember to FaceBook you about this....
