About me: ARTA (American River Touring Association, Inc.)
is a non-profit corporation, founded in 1963 and registered with the State of California. Our mission is to introduce our guests to the wilderness and to involve them in our trips in a manner that is safe, meaningful, and beneficial to both the individual and the environment. Our goal is to conduct safe river trips which promote a sense of involvement and fulfillment, which foster an appreciation for the wilderness, which are legendary in their professionalism and satisfaction, and which are a great deal of fun.Our non-profit status and philosophy ensure that any surplus revenues generated by our trips are reinvested in the company or donated to conservation organizations and are not distributed to individuals or investors.
