We are here for one reason: to teach artists how to make a living with their art. We've been doing it for more than 20 years. It's our passion. We want artists to succeed, not just dream about it.
Art Calendar is published 11 times a year, with articles on marketing work in galleries, at art festivals, online and in alternative venues, as well as all the how-to and organizational tips you need to build a career in art.
We've also launched two new sites: .. and ArtScuttlebutt.com. At ArtCalendar.com, you can read some of our latest articles, including profiles of artists who have found effective ways to realize their dreams of success. And at ArtScuttlebutt.com, artists can post their work and profiles in personal online galleries, viewable by anyone in the world. It's free, and it's a great way to get your work out there.
Who I'd like to meet: Artists, art-lovers, gallery owners, museum directors, crafters, interior designers, graphic designers, photographers and anyone else who wants to know anything about the business of being an artist.
