What They've Said About Ghost Notes

"Ghost Notes is a worthy contribution to the pantheon of rock novels. This is a savvy, sharp, insider’s view of the rise and fall of a band and what can be lost and found along the way.”

-Mark Lindquist, Author of Never Mind Nirvana and The King of Methlehem

“Engrossing, real, and well-written . . . The characters are relatable and honest.”

-Laurie Notaro, Author of There’s a (Slight) Chance I Might Be Going to Hell: A Novel of Sewer Pipes, Pageant Queens, and Big Trouble

“Ghost Notes is the Almost Famous for the minor leaguers of rock ‘n’ roll. I read it straight through and loved it.”

-Curtis Grippe, Arizona Republic/Dead Hot Workshop

Art Edwards published his first novel, Stuck Outside of Phoenix, in 2003. It received several positive reviews, and it was nominated for the Star Program, a marketing support program offered to select iUniverse titles that sell at least 500 copies. Stuck Outside of Phoenix was re-released on the Defunct Press imprint in 2008.

Art received a merit scholarship to attend the University of San Francisco's MFA in Writing program, graduating in 2002.

Art lives in Portland, Oregon with his wife, Raquel.

Hey Buddy,

If there truth to this excerpt from an article on the Refreshments regarding some early shows after being signed?

"They played to dead air in Los Angeles, braved flying chicken drumsticks at a music festival in Omaha, and got pelted with mud in Cleveland.
"

I do a site you might dig. It's all about art, music, literature, and we're taking a firsthand look at medical marijuana
in California. Check it out and spread the love.
