   About Artgr
My name is Arthur Vint and I'm a Tucson, Arizona based drummer, percussionist, and musician currently living in Brooklyn, New York. I’ve held the drum chair in many different ensembles, playing jazz, rock and roll, country, afrobeat, and whatever else. I also had some “classical training” way back when...whatever that means.

In New York I can be found performing regularly with the Jazz Band Classic, Modern Medical Miracle, Mike Wilkens Quintet, and Matt Panayides Trio, among others.

In Tucson, I can found playing with Andrew Collberg, Gabe Sullivan, Jameson Clyde, Naim Amor, Matt Mitchell Trio, A Very Large Ensemble, The Ad Nauseam Project, The Arizona Roadrunners, and my own group The Afrodelic Stegosaurchestra.

I can be heard on the following recordings:

If I Were A Vacuum, I’d Suck You Into a Bag - artgr - 2004
Yellow Man - artgr - 2005
The Afrodelic Stegosaurchestra - Afro Steg - 2006
Live At The China Rose - The Arizona Roadrunners - 2007
Songs Of The Sun - The Lame Deer Collective - 2007
Christmas In Tucson - Naim Amor - 2007
Live At The Montevista - Will Elliott & Marianne Dissard - 2008
Dust Devil Blues - Mitchell/Black/Vint Trio - 2008
Soundtracks Vol III - Naim Amor - 2009
By The Dirt - Gabriel Sullivan - 2009
Upcoming Album - Jameson Clyde - 2009
Upcoming Album - Amy Rude - 2009
Upcoming Album - Andrew Collberg - 2009

I do some other crap, but I forgot and you don't care anyways. I just like music a lot. Tell me what you think of mine.

HEY!
Thanks for the photo. It is with deepest regret that I felt the need to delete it from my page. Things like that could come back to haunt me in my bid for public office and such. Something that you might take into consideration your self.

Hey there,

Here's one from left field...

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?

A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:

Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella

Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.

Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UaIim3Rj7L4

Help to raise awareness.

Say have you checked out my web site recently?

Take care and keep in touch.

Best,
Faber.
