Sounds Like
British Hip-Hop on the radio show, that's all rap with a British accent "What You Call It?" as Wiley would say. In the magazine, that's Hip-Hop worldwide! We cover anything that's relevant from Crunk, to East Coast Harcore, all the way through Snap, Hyphy, Screw, West Coast Gangster and of course anything coming out of the UK "What You Call It?" all of it.

An extension of the all powerful and all consuming Artrocker brand. Art-Hip-Rocker-Hop has been the hip-hop focus of The UK's fastest growing music magazine since it's days in email format. After seeing the brand (promoters, record label who released compilations of the Art-Rock scene's best and brightest and 15,000 strong e-magazine) grow to the fortnightly music publication that features only the coolest, newest, most important and most relevant bands in the world of Art-Rock helping along the 'style icon' status that it has garnered, Art-Hip-Rocker-Hop expanded it's wings in 2005 with it's first stars on the taste-making magazine's cover. The Mitchell Brothers' issue was accompanied by Artrocker's first hip-hop live promo in it's six year existance. The gig headlined by cover stars The Mitchell brothers and featuring 679's acoustic hip-hop sensation Plan-B and Brixton's much talked about Why Lout? was a massive step for the scene. Art-Hip-Rocker-Hop has maintained a page in all of Artrocker's 28 issues (29 if you include the launch) featuring writer Tego's think pieces about the Hip-Hop/ Grime/ Crunk/ Screwed scenes across the world.
In December, London's most exciting young radio station Resonance FM asked Art-Hip-Rocker-Hop to translate the articles, gigs and promotions into a weekly radio show, launching with a pilot show on December 16th and going regular on Thursday evenings at 21:30 as of January 12th on 104.4 and live on Resonancefm.com (the show features Tego, Dego and Hovis and will have regular guests from within the hip-hop scene). Now in 2006, with Art-Hip-Rocker-Hop's brand continuing to grow (along with the hip-hop/ grime scene in London). Art-Hip-Rocker-Hop has many more cover stars for Artrocker planned, many more gigs and a whole lot more.
