I'm currently running a studio out of my home in Chafford Hundred, Essex. I'm a producer and musician with over 6 years worth of experience - playing in bands, recording bands and mixing tracks. I have an eclectic listening taste ranging from Pop, to Deathcore to Irish Folk to Drum & Bass. I primarily produce my own band(s), however I'm always on the lookout for upcoming bands that fancy a decent demo/EP sorted out.
I achieved a Triple Distinction grade in BTEC ND Music Technology (Equivalent to 3 A's at A Level) and I'm currently doing a BA Degree in Music Production at The Academy Of Contemporary Music in Guildford, Surrey. In the past I have done freelance work for local recording studios and also done the live sound for CH Community Church.
I like to provide a relaxed atmosphere and try and make recording as fun as possible. I believe that the best way to get a good take down is to be fully comfortable and at ease. I'm a 5 minute walk from Tesco and a 5 minute drive from Lakeside if bands ever need a quick break. The most convenient times to book are half terms and weekends right now. Nah i halted that one for the time being, to work on the actual business venture. Me and my partners started an events website. its kind of a way to show people that there is still a ton of stuff to do today even with times being hard. We volunteer alot and cover alot of charity events. Its pretty rad. Were gonna launch the site officially in january. Oh my god! No it wasn't nearly as bad as that! Deary me, was the insurance claim any good? Haha. I think old Trivium is better than new Trivium, esp live. I saw them 3 years ago, and then 2 years ago, and then I saw them at Download this summer, and they have really changed live. But ho-hum! Assendancy was a great album! Thats awesome man! Pretty much all of my free time is devoted to my business. My partners and I have recently taken on allot of volunteer work in an effort to really give back and get our name out there in a positive light. I've been brain storming tons of new ideas as far as the direction we're headed and the sight should be launched in january. Are you on twitter by any chance?
yeah, seriously i have! got a CD thing and a book with all the q's.... i er, acutally did it for the first time 2 wks ago. you need 43/50 now to pass and i got 42! i was so gutted, REALLY NEARLY passed. pass the hazard perception bit fine! got it tomorrow, i better get that one question this time!!!! dont wanna pay again! XD
It depends on the song tbh, we both try to do abit of everything but at the same time try to play more to our strengths (saying that Im giving izzy screaming lessons and shes giving me singing lessons lol)
