I've been writing, recording, releasing, promoting and performing songs for a while. I've had songs placed on the TV shows, The OC, Felicity, Camp Jim, Laguna Beach and the major films, National Lampoon's Adam and Eve and Breaking Dawn. I've also had songs used in commercials for Domino's Pizza, Arizona Jeans and Cheapbooks.com. In addition, I've been nominated for Songwriter of the Year in the Houston Press Music Awards just about every year since 2001.
I play with backing bands and i play traditional solo acoustic guitar shows but mainly i play shows where i use loops, beats, noises, percussion, melodica, harmonica and various props along with my voice and guitar.
i've taken all of these acts on the road all over the U.S., playing in venues like, CBGB's and Sine'in NYC, the Knitting Factory and the Viper Room in LA, the lovely, Schuba's in Chicago, the memorable, Tasty World in Athens, GA and one of my favorites, The Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe in Galvrston, TX. Also, i've toured the U.K. and i actually got to play at the Cavern Club in Liverpool one time. Oh, and i've done tours in Colombia, South America but most of you wouldn't know those bars so i'll stop here.
I really, really like your music..i got a cd 'music against pop' and i immediately liked your song 'i'll be here awake'.. so i searched in the internet and i found really amazing songs!
yes...he is just a boy...a waste of space...may seem cruel but it;s the truth...he is ridiculous...and i'm not being dramatic :) (maybe a smidge...but what does one do!)
