Article 5 are an exciting new band from the Warwickshire area who have explored many different styles and genres of music in their 3 year life. They have emerged from a period of dark melancholy reflective music and cross-breed it with alternate styles of both pop and rock to make them stand out from the crowd. Article 5 has gone through difficult times with different singers and guitarists leaving
yet have come out stronger. The band write all their own music, with over 15 of their own songs recorded or being prepared to record. With five talented musicians, all having different music tastes, they draw in influences from a wide spectrum of artists, resulting in a unique, and interesting sound.
Mark's bit : hi everyone. As you may have gathered i play lead guitar and sing! I love music and i love playing and writing songs for our band, but for the moment, i probably appear a bit shy on stage - give me some encouragement - shout at me or something.... Anyway, i'm optimistic for the future of our band and with the help of our fans, i believe we could even make it big!
Chris' bit: Hey - wow - this band has evolved so much - we started with a hopless guitarist, an energetic bassist and a drummer without a drumkit but now with a new singer and great new guitarist - its sounding awesome! Look out for us at local venues - its gonna be big!
Stu's Bit: Hello, one of the originals of the band,had never played the drums before but i was "allotted" the drums so i have been learning for over 3 years. i enjoy playing in the band because it gives me some sense of achievement.. and thats basically it :)
Charlie's Bit: hey mates im the bass man (i try keyboards as well). i went down under for a couple of years which meant obviously i didnt play too often, came back and the band was awesome! if u like the music add me on myspace, give me a call whatever :D see ya

lmao i know i have been ditching allot of classes for dentist app and doctors but sleep also, man i hope i get out of this term alive. what happened about ur Financial Aid thing? least i been making some side money though, filling out those surveys online, giving my opinions n stuff. it aint been doing too bad, bout an extra 200 bucks or so a week, and the work is pretty easy, just like answering questions and giving my opinions on different things. heh, i just finished one, and it was about what freakin toothpaste do i like to use, lol. anyways, you should try it, and lemme know how it does for yah. i guess you'll have to type the link into internet explorer or whatever, but here it is:
I have never claimed the rights to Freddy Can't Hurt Us Now. If i so wanted to claim it, let it be know to you, that I in fact came up with the idea [and so structure] for the new version [see the band "This November"].
In regards to Secure, i claim at least 50% royalties and ownership, having written the melody and structure.
As for Dirty Joe, i claim 100% royalities and ownership, having written the melody, structure and lyrics.
It would be very foolhardy of you to bring the court into such a matter, as i just so happen to know a few well-respected, uncomprising lawyers.
However, if you feel court action is necessary, they would be more than happy to drain you of every penny you're worth, for false ownership [and so copyright infringement].
Im afraid as both the creative control and copyrights for the band article 5 and in particular the song in question 'flos song' belong to Chris Doherty he is free to do with his songs whatever he pleases - including using them with other bands :D
There is no grounds for the law suit to continue and we therefore wish you good day and best of luck with the greatest hits album :D
