The late-night prowlers of the honky-tonk circuits are already catching on to his songs. When Artie Dean Harris busts out into "What's In Her Genes", "Tractor Factor" or the crowd favorite "Jim, Jack & Jose", they sing right along. This is a sure sign that this hot country newcomer is 'Big Star Bound'!
This young man with credits including Broadway musicals and Hollywood pictures definitely does not lack high marks in the category of talent. This is clearly evident the very second Artie Dean takes the stage! His stunning good looks and chiseled physique only add to his powerful voice and "let- loose" attitude on stage. He has all the right moves!
"I am always disappointed to purchase a concert ticket only to see an artist stand there and tap his toe. What's the excitement in that? In my opinion, you can get the same satisfaction listening to their CD in the car," says Harris.
So where does all of his energy and superstar charisma come from? Maybe it was New York City where he performed night after night for nearly two years on Broadway's musical "Footloose." Or was it his experience as an actor in the Paramount Pictures movie "Blue Chips?" Possibly it was his summer job early on in his career performing at Opryland theme park. You might even say performing in Japan, Canada, Mexico and forty-four states may give him the confidence it takes to become successful in this business.
"My God-given talents have lead me on a wild adventure through every phase of the entertainment industry, but I have always stayed true to my roots. I was not about to let New York City take the South out of me. I am blessed to have had so many wonderful opportunities at such a young age and luckily, was smart enough to use those experiences to enhance my career in country music."
This Kentucky native is country to the bone, but his urban experience is obvious. As the singer aims to put the honky-tonk back into the country music scene, he flips and tumbles and performs high-flying handstands, leaping into the crowd then back onto the stage to sing about fast women and beautiful horses. Think Merle Haggard, Tom Cruise and a world-famous circus act all rolled into one young cowboy crooner. He brings pure energy to country music. There is much more than toe-tapping in this show!
I feel it is important to make sure everyone that attends my show is having as much fun as I am. They say you cant please everyone. That may be true but Ill die trying!

Were little white gloved men waiting in your house with golfclubs? Next time we will have to see a much scarier movie because that one was just flat out gay. And I'm still wringing creek water out of my friend's shoes...thank god there's no crawdads in the boots.
Hey Artie, Congrats on all your success so far. You and the band are true inspirations and a perfect example that your dreams can come true if you just keep trying. Keep on keeping on!
Artie~ Thanks for meeting with me for Lunch Today. I appreciate your time. I will be in contact with you in a few days to see how things are going. I look forward to setting up the Mona Vie booth at some of your events.
Artie~ I didn't send that last comment and I am not sure who did, but please take it off your page. I don't want anyone to think I would send something like that over the web. There seems to be something like this going all over myspace. Can't keep anything safe these days. Also I think I will be in the Ville this week... I will look you up. ~PC
