I'm in the army, and will be until April 2012. I'm currently attending the Art Institute of Seattle working on my Bachelor's degree in Web Design & Interactive Media. I'm 26, single (and looking), and have my own apartment which is shared by two cats (Oden- a siamese, and Shamus- a domestic shorthair).I'm a very introverted person. I am very selective of who I befriend, mainly because I don't feel that most people are deserving of my friendship. So in this way, I am very elitist when selecting friends. My friend base is extremely limited, but those who are my friends have earned my friendship because they have proven themselves to me time and time again during tough times. I'm a die-hard fan of metal, and always will be. I find most enjoyment in Black Metal, although I do like a large assortment of Death Metal. I enjoy the scene as much as the music. Underground music is the most heartfelt and is in its truest form as art.
The best musicians in music are in the metal scene. The speed and intensity in which they play coupled with their aspirations and dedication to their instruments is what makes metal so crucial.Movies
I am a huge fan of mostly horror movies, though I do enjoy some comedies (depending on how it's directed). I am definitely not a fan of the films that come out nowadays that are slathered in CGI and computer animation. It really takes away from the directing and acting portion. Actors have become emotionless and lethargic. Directors spend more time in the editing room or cutting room rather than behind the camera.
Having said that, I'm not particularly a fan of going to the movies either. With all the morons in attendance, how could I enjoy a film if the dick in front of or behind me (or next to me!) is snoring, sending or receiving texts/phone calls, or is talking, etc.
I'll just stick to streaming a movie off Netflix through my Blu-ray player, or simply buying a movie and watching it at home.Television
