Music is a true extension of the soul, an expression of one's dreams and ambitions. And for 14-year-old Canadian Pop singer, Michala Todd, music is her way of expressing a passion for life. That's a lot to say about a young teenage artist, but it's a testament to Michala's true love of music, and of living life to the fullest. Performing isn't just what she does, but who she is: a talented young performer who, despite her remarkable string of accomplishments early in life, possesses an insatiable appetite to both broaden her extraordinary skills, and to perform for all who will listen. Also working on Michala's current project: highly-regarded artist/songwriter/producer, John Acosta, who has also written for artists such as pop duo SKY, Canadian Idol Winner Ryan Malcolm, and Carol Welsman. Michala's thirst for perfection is evident as she continues studies in professional vocal training, and in guitar, following five years of vocal training at the prestigious Modern Conservatory of Music. A blonde-haired, hazel-eyed beauty, Michala doesn't limit her performing to singing. In fact, in addition to her two years of piano studies, Michala has studied acting in summer camp, and with Carolyn's Model & Talent Agency Ltd., and she continues to study dance - Jazz and Modern - at the highly-regarded Nicole Jacklin School of Dance. On stage, Michala's talents as an actress have captivated audiences. This multi-talented artist has starred as a Copa Girl in the Orangeville Music Theatre production, Copacabana; in the South Simcoe Theatre production, Bye Bye Birdie; in Orangeville Theatre's, Dig It; and in the lead role of an elementary school production of, Mary Poppins.
