Amanda Brickner (thank you for your love and lesson. You taught me well. I'll never forget the night when you passed me your two page journal entry, dressed in camaflauge shorts; while Leonardo Dicaprio and Russell Crowe filmed their movie on Wisconsin Ave, and you waited for me at Clyde's of Georgetown. We later went to Tombs, and I met your friend a backwaiter and rapper who performed for us, at an afterparty in Georgetown atop of Kevin's balcony. We listened and hugged overlooking the Whithurst freeway, Potomac river & Watergate.
I also remember meeting up at the Torpedo factory. I danced up towards you, and hugged you so quietly from behind. You held my hands and we did not speak. We only observed and admired all the art surrounding us. I know you love me and I you. I wish we still knew one another in some way; we can do anything now, together or apart.
