Folk singer/songwriter Andrea Summer, known for her powerfully emotive voice and unique piano stylings, had been recording and performing for 6 years when she met Tye VonAllmen—former drummer/guitarist of pop-punk band "Curbsquirrels". Collaborating together, they began co-writing and over time and through music, the two became inseparable. When they started recording their songs, they discovered a style that surprised them both with influences like Radiohead, Jimmy Eat World and Imogen Heap. The hybrid of sounds and melodies they molded together soon took the name - Artists & Authors.
Over the next few years, and after joining forces with artists Steven Wicks, Trentin Manning, and Zach Stutzman - Arists & Authors has quickly become the next must see band, in the already thriving Cincinnati music scene. As they strive to master the art of personal communication in movements and words, their powerful and undeniably original blend of genres demands your attention and gets inside your head.
