I'm a bass player, composer/arranger and educator (I teach at VCU and offer private instruction outside of the "ivy covered walls" of academia). I'm primarily a jazz player, but am also classically trained and volunteer my time for performances with the Richmond Philharmonic Orchestra. I really dislike labels, though, and feel that the we will only progress artistically if we open our minds to the countless possibilities that genre bending and blending afford us. That being said, if you have an interesting and artistic project, give me a holler. If you're looking for instruction, give me a holler.
