My parents, the older I get the more I respect what they've done for me. I will never take for granted the sacrifices they must have made in raising me and my sisters.
My name is Andre' Thompson. I've been in the business of art for more than 15 years now. Welcome to my page. As you can see, I am the proud owner of Atlanta's largest African American art gallery ,as well as one of the highest appraised african american galleries in the US. When opening the doors, our first plans was to introduce quality original art to customers from a gallery perspective, then we started getting requests for rental of our 6000 sq. ft. beautiful space. Now we are known as "The events gallery with a view". The lists of clients range from Morehouse College to The Olympic Committee's launch party for the official Winter game posters designed by an African American (did you know that?). The list goes on to include many dignitaries as well as distinguished guests who are now proud collectors and satisfied customers of Art on 5. My most recent accomplishment is my Saturday morning program "Painting with the Masters". This program involves me opening up my doors to kids from ages 5-18 years who have an interest in the arts. It is very rewarding and growing every week. Please look at the pics in my photo gallery and let me know what you think. We are soliciting donations because it is free to kids.
