LA MIA PROSSIMA MOSTRA A SAN GIMIGNANO (SIENA) DENTRO collettiva David De Biasio, Andrea Boyer, Marica Fasoli, Paolo Tagliaferro, Michele Taricco, Luciano Ventrone su www.artit.it Paolo Tagliaferro was born in 1981 in the town of Lonigo on the country of Vicenza. He is a great self-taught artist using the hyper-realist or photo-realist style in a skillfull, powerfull, elegant manner with meticulousty rendered still life images. He stared to draw when he was a young child. He attended the Art Field High School and College at "Accademia of Beaux-Arts G.B Cignaroli" of Verone. To immediatly understand his art skills, you can for example these: "Still-life with raisins", "Still-life with Fall fruits", "Muschrooms" and "Colored Pumpkins". In all of them, there is the deepest attention to the darkness to lightness play, well-matched colors and a classic touch that recall so much of Caravaggio's art and an extraordinary way to show ow fruits look in their enviroment. His art recalls Ralph Goings. Several years ago Paolo Tagliafero made an artwork which now represents a milestone in his art his "Self-portrait with Dark Eye glasses" in which there is a contemporary touch with a unique classica touch with Caravaggio's Bacco. Paolo Tagliaferro also is a brillant portrait painter fond of people's faces, dogs and horses. He makes these using the ancient techniques of Leonardo da' Vinci, Caravaggio and Flemish painters as sanguine and sepia. Starting from 2008 he is going to specialize his own way to represent life through toys. Look at the artwork called "Ancient Toys" where there is such an extraordinary realism. This artwork recalls so much the very famous Caravaggio masterpiece "Canestro di frutta" (Ambrosian Pinacoteque of Milan, Italy). Paolo Tagliafero has already made several one-man show in different towns as well collective shows and he has also won several art prices. He'is a young Italian artist that can show off his powerfull touch all around the world.
