About me: Panagiotis Linardakis was born in 1957 in Sparta, Greece. He studied drawing at the Costas Iliadis School of Art & Design between 1975 and 1978, and then went to Paris to study painting at the École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris, sculpture at the École des Arts Plastique of the Université de Vincenne (1979), drawing at the Académie de la Grande Chaumière in Paris, and photography at the École Supérieure des Arts Modernes in Paris. While studying in Paris he assisted Costas Couledianos in his studio. In 1982 Linardakis felt ready to return back to Athens.
Panagiotis Linardakis has held many personal exhibitions, such as at the Library of Mante-la-Jolie in 1983; at Engonopoulos Gallery in Athens in 1986; a happening/performance at Free-Lance Pub in Athens in 1989; Domestic Farm in 1999 and Flowers in 2003, both at Medusa Art Gallery. His work was showcased by Medusa Art gallery in Art Athina of 2003.
