The 9 track EP „Dawn Of The Dead“ is a new release by the german-french gothic rock band ARTS OF EREBUS. The band has heard the club DJ‘s calling and re-released a single mix of „Dawn Of The Dead“, the secret clubhit song from their recent full album „Icon In Eyes“.

Besides the single mix and the album-version, the EP offers two other versions of the title song „Dawn Of The Dead“: the „Aftermath“ version comes as an atmospheric down-tempo electronica track, and the „Dead Bodies Dancing Mix“. On its more than 48 minutes of playing time, this EP also contains new versions of already known ARTS OF EREBUS tunes like „Heroes In The Dark“ (the hit song from their 2003 debut album), „Brotherhood Of Sleep“ and „Watching Demons“, as well as an orchestral arrangement of „Zeit und Traum“. „Pitch Black“ is a previously unreleased instrumental track.

„Dawn Of The Dead“ was inspiration for the german comic and video artist Tikwa („Die Kleine Gruftschlampe“, „Space Rat“, „Night Angels“ and other comics) to produce a video with ARTS OF EREBUS.

ARTS OF EREBUS - "Icon In Eyes" (CD album 2007, Sonorium)
Second full album CD, released in april 2007. The music by Arts Of Erebus on this album developed to a more rock-influenced style with more power and beats, but still being a perfect frame for the emotional vocals of singer Damien. In the song 'Zeit und Traum', which is the only german-language song amongst the english lyrics on this album, you can also hear the voice of Rosendorn (Adversus) as a guest-vocalist.

ARTS OF EREBUS - "Thousand Ways To Die" (free download single, 2006)
This free web single contains the title song "Thousand Ways to Die" and the 2006 version of our former club-hit "Children of the Night" (originally released on the ARTS OF EREBUS debut album). There is also a videoclip included with this single, showing ARTS OF EREBUS ' live-performance of "Thousand Ways To Die" at the Batschkapp club (Frankfurt/Germany) on October 26th 2006.

ARTS OF EREBUS - "Negative White" (CD album 2003, Sonorium)
The debut album CD by ARTS OF EREBUS received much positive response in the international gothic scene, especially in Germany and France, where the song "Children of the Night" turned to be a hit in clubs.

The music of Arts of Erebus is composed by guitar-player Michel Meneguzzi, and is getting enriched with the melody lines by lead singer Damien Grey. The complete thickness of our sound is added by Regis (metal guitar), Stephane (keys) and Tommy (bass). Lots of elements out of the independent scene have been giving strong impulses to the sound of Arts of Erebus. We are influenced by Electronic, New Wave, Dark Metal and of course the classical guitar Gothic Rock. Arts of Erebus use modern synthesizer sounds as a matter of course in the same way like the traditional Gothic guitars and bass.
