Arts on Real is Austin's newest performance space serving the non-profit theatre and dance community. Arts on Real features seating for approximately 100 in a flexible arrangement that can be set in proscenium, thrust, and in-the-round configurations with either stadium seating or a bistro table/lounge format. Arts on Real also include offices, small- and medium-sized classrooms and dressing areas, a rehearsal room, and a workshop with loading doors.
The space is the permanent home of Naughty Austin Productions, and is managed by a new 501(c)(3) parent company, Arts Entertainment Group, to develop and manage the space. Arts On Real is also the home of Loaded Gun Theory, Writer's Block (open mike nights for writers of all types of material), and Screen Door (monthly screenings of 10 to 12 independent films.)
