Welcome to the 6th Annual ArtsWells Festival of all Things Art
~ July 31 - August 3, 2009 ~ Wells/Barkerville, British Columbia
Featuring over 100 Performers and Visual Artists spread throughout Two Historic Goldrush Towns, Performing on Seven Stages over Four Glorious Days


The 2009 ArtsWells Festival Features:

~ Over 50 musical acts showcasing: folk, jazz, country, funk, hip hop, electronic, klezmer, pop, world music, roots & much more!
~ Various Live Performances include juggling, spoken word, puppetry, stilt walking, dance, and more!
~ The world famous International One Minute Play Festival
~ Tons of free workshops and kids activities
~ Visual art displays throughout the town of Wells
~ Numerous Street Performances
~ Regional Artisans and Vendors exhibiting and selling their wares
~ Discounts to Barkerville Historic Town - where you can catch more ArtsWells musical acts just 8 km down the road.

Ticket Prices for the 2009 ArtsWells Festival

Four Day Weekend Pass includes all workshops and special discounts to local attractions and businesses including Barkerville Historic Town.
Also new this year, with the purchase of an adult weekend pass we will also include a voucher for a CD of your choice from the ArtsWells Merchandise Booth. The ArtsWells Festival will then pay the retail value of that CD to the artist, giving festival-goers the chance to support their favourite artist directly through the purchase of their weekend pass.

This year’s Early Bird Tickets are now available for purchase and are priced at only $60 for the four-day weekend pass. Due to the increasing interest in the ArtsWells festival this year’s festival will have only a limited number of tickets available and they are expected to sell out fast.
