When Artswipe and Skanky Jane met and got married, Skanky J rendered our love in the most gloriously technicolour of low-fi GIF animations... But then the mysterious Vibrator got in the way of our conjugal bliss...
Bambina Borracha is heading up an installation project as part of PERSEPHONE'S WOLF, our debut production premiering at Sydney's Carriageworks in January 2008.

I dreamed about you all last night. I had traveled a long distance to see you. You had a lot of friends around - all very fabulous people, many with well known names. Some distance remained between us because of all the other people and because of something else although it was not clear what that something else was. We never actually sat next to each other or spoke to each other directly. I was shy. There was a lot of buzz in the room about some dolls - very lifelike dolls - though not of human scale. I had been talking with the maker of these dolls, a woman who was tall, blonde, svelte and softly spoken. I didn't realise the dolls were her creation until after she had left the gathering. This was something of a gaffe on my part. I was going to be staying for a few days in the house I had traveled to to visit you and although shy, was very excited. You were wearing long pants and a bright white, short sleeved t-shirt. You had very thick and lustrous dark black hair.

Oh! Thanks for letting me in on that serial box title Arty. I think it is clever - as I interpreted it as the political climate as killing off art schools - serially. I thought it might have come from Angus' and my image - but it has a nice resonance with all that for me anyhow!
